How to Make

green juice

•GREEN JUICING is a staple habit for modern day healthy living and a great way to pack a bunch of nutrition in one glass.

•You can make it smooth and easy to drink in any ol’ blender… just add a few stalks each of 3-5 different fresh greens (kale, spinach, curly parsley, arugula, culantro, avocado, celery, cucumbers, dark green lettuce, sprouts, dandelion greens, watercress, bitter melon, mint, etc.) plenty of ice, and little bit of water – just enough to get it all to blend into a super smooth, almost paste – and then add more water to your liking.

•Make sure you add fresh citrus (pineapple, orange, key limes, etc.) for the extra Vitamin C needed to absorb important minerals in the juice.

•Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator and use the drink within 24 hours.  If you need to store longer than that you can freeze and use within a few days.  The fresher the better.

•You can add powdered herbs and superfoods to create an intensely nourishing smoothie full of life nutrients in a form that the body is made to absorb and be energized and repaired by… do this daily, with each meal if you can, as your real food, to cleanse, heal and fortify your awesome, multi-dimensional, crystalline, divine, GODbody self.

•Use organically-grown produce as much as you possibly can.  Consider growing some of your own supply of greens.  Some are very easy to grow in containers, and sprouts are superfoods that can be grown in a mason jar anywhere.   Also consider finding a community garden near you.  They are popping up everywhere and are a great source of organically grown, affordable greens, green-living support, and even cheap plots of land to rent and grow your own food.
